About the Role
We are seeking a motivated R&D Technician to join our Technical Department. In this role, you will support our Chemists in the development, testing, and application of new and existing products. This position is hands-on and ideal for someone who enjoys laboratory work, problem-solving, and contributing to product innovation in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare laboratory trial batches and perform compounding work
- Test products according to industry standards and document results
- Apply products using production equipment in a board shop environment
- Complete laboratory work requests accurately and on time
- Write clear, concise reports on testing and development activities
- Support Quality Control functions as needed
- Maintain compliance with OSHA and company safety policies at all times
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework or experience in chemistry highly preferredFamiliarity with laboratory test equipment and proceduresStrong math and counting skills with high attention to detailAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishPrevious laboratory or technical work experience is a plusWorking Conditions
