Job Description

As a Security Officer - Tech / Media Patrol in Newnan, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a dynamic technology, media, and telecom environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible throughout the location. You will also provide excellent customer service and clear communication to everyone you encounter. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the location by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking appropriate action as required.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and perimeter to help to deter inappropriate activity and identify any potential issues.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and / or client representatives.
  • Assist with access control, including verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required by site procedures.
  • Support emergency response activities when appropriate, following established protocols for the location.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, observations, and activities while on duty.
  • Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and client staff to help to maintain a secure environment at the technology, media, and telecom location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
