The Role
The Interviewer will serve as a cornerstone of Wings internal recruitment function, ensuring the company maintains a consistent pipeline of high-quality candidates ready to meet client and operational needs. This position focuses primarily on interviewing, screening, and assessing candidates to uphold Wings standards of excellence. The ideal candidate has experience in virtual assistant recruitment or high-volume hiring environments and can work effectively under pressure while meeting strict deadlines and service level agreements (SLAs).
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive one-on-one interviews and screening sessions to evaluate candidate skills, professional experience, and overall fit for Wings talent standards
- Build and maintain an internal talent pool of qualified candidates across multiple roles and specializations for both current and future needs
- Evaluate resumes, assessments, and work samples to ensure candidates align with Wings hiring criteria and performance expectations
- Prepare candidates for endorsement to client-facing recruitment teams by clarifying role responsibilities, expectations, and required competencies
- Update and maintain accurate candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring the integrity and timeliness of data across all recruitment stages
- Collaborate with Sourcing Specialists and Talent Acquisition Partners to maintain a continuous inflow of qualified applicants into the internal pipeline
- Monitor and assess candidate quality and performance trends to refine screening and assessment standards
- Work within defined SLAs and hiring timelines to support the companys operational and client delivery goals
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the recruitment department to enhance efficiency, candidate experience, and overall talent quality
Qualifications
Proven experience conducting candidate interviews, screenings, and assessments (required)Previous experience hiring virtual assistants or working with a staffing agency specializing in virtual assistant placements (highly preferred)Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with exceptional attention to detailBachelors degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Communication, English, or a related fieldDemonstrated ability to manage large candidate pools while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standardsExperience with at least one Applicant Tracking System (ATS) (required)Familiarity with sourcing and assessing candidates through online and social media platforms (preferred)Proficiency with virtual meeting tools such as Google Meet, Zoom, or SkypeTech-savvy, organized, and able to operate effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced recruitment environmentResilient, adaptable, and capable of maintaining composure and accuracy under pressureExperience with tools such as Discord, ClickUp, G-Suite, Zoho, or similar recruitment and collaboration software is an advantageBenefits
