Job Title : 911 Paramedic
Summary :
MTAC has an immediate opening for PRN 911 Paramedics. We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated individual to provide high-quality, prehospital EMS.
Those who meet the minimum qualifications will be notified and must provide two (2) forms of identification, (DL, SS Card, Passport, etc)

12 hour shiftsESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Compliance with all MTAC policies and proceduresMaintain a clean appearance, demonstrating courteous, professional and ethical behavior, as well as the ability to work cooperatively with other members of the healthcare community.Continually improve and upgrade the skills and knowledge of the EMS ProfessionRender competent patient care in the both prehospital and interfacility settingCompliance with all applicable service, local and state protocolsSafely operate and maintain all equipment and tools relevant to an EMT and EMT-ParamedicCommunicate patient information to other members to other members of the healthcare profession.Communicate information through the proper chain of command, to management and other colleagues of MTACAccurately and completely documents information required by MTAC and the Department of Health via our Electronic PCR.Demonstrate, by attendance and documentation, compliance with MTAC and PADOH requirements for continuing education and licensureDemonstrate physical and mental ability to perform all tasks required in the performance of duties as an EMT-ParamedicClean and maintain the cleanliness of MTAC property, including, but not limited to vehicles, equipment, buildings, and surrounding areas.Accurately and completely document the required information on MTACs Daily Vehicle Inspection form and daily Equipment Inventory form.PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
Sit and Stand for extended periods of timeWalk, bend, squat, twist, reach, push, pull, and carryFrequently lift and / or move more than 125 pounds including lifting, moving and carrying patients up and down stairsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
High School Diploma or GED equivalentCompletion of an approved EMT-Paramedic program and acceptance for licensure or reciprocity in the Commonwealth of PennsylvaniaMaintain current valid drivers licenceMaintain, on file, current a valid PA EMT Paramedic certificationMaintain, on file, current CPR for the Healthcare ProfessionalMaintain, on file, current and valid PA DOH approved ACLS providerMaintain, on file, current and valid PA DOH approved PALS providerMaintain, on file, current and valid PA DOH EMSVO certificationALL REQUIRED BACKGROUND CLEARANCES (PA STATE, PA CHILD CLEARANCE, FBI CLEARANCE)PREFERRED CERTIFICATION NOT REQUIRED
