The Occupational Therapist will provide high-quality care to each assigned patient, resident, or client with daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident / patient / or client's assessment and plan of care.

Responsibilities :

• Assessing the functional abilities and limitations of residents through comprehensive evaluations.
• Developing individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and resident goals.
• Implementing evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to enhance residents' independence and quality of life.
• Providing therapeutic activities and exercises to improve residents' motor skills, coordination, balance, and strength.
• Evaluating the need for assistive devices, adaptive equipment, and modifications to improve residents' ability to perform daily activities.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and physical therapists, to ensure a coordinated and interdisciplinary approach to resident care.
• Monitoring and documenting residents' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Educating residents and their families on therapeutic techniques, home exercise programs, and strategies to optimize independence.
• Adhering to legal, ethical, and professional standards of occupational therapy practice.
• Participating in team meetings, staff development activities, and continuing education to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
