Job Description The RN – Medical / Surgical provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in a competent, compassionate, and efficient manner in accordance with licensure, certification, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities :

Deliver patient care consistent with hospital standards and best practices.

Perform initial and ongoing assessments, including system reviews and documentation.

Demonstrate understanding of age-specific care requirements.

Utilize Cerner EMR for charting and care coordination.

Requirements Licensure : Current Registered Nurse license (State / District) – Required

Certifications : BLS & ACLS – Required

NIHSS – Required

CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute’s NCI With Advanced Physical Skills Training) – Required

Education : Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program – Required ; BSN – Highly Desired

Experience :

Minimum 2 years inpatient nursing experience – Required

Med Surg Telemetry experience – Required

6 months Travel Nurse experience – Required

Telemetry and Cerner EMR experience – Required
