Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with 2+ years of MRI experience for a weekend day shift assignment.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is based in a Magnetic Resonance Imaging unit
  • Work schedule is 12-hour day shifts every Saturday and Sunday from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM
  • Assignment duration is 13 weeks
  • Patient population consists of those referred for outpatient and inpatient MRI scans
  • Responsibilities include operating the MRI scanner, administering contrast agents, and preparing patients for scans
  • Duties include ensuring high-quality images, patient safety screening, correct patient positioning, equipment maintenance, documentation of procedures, and coordination with other medical professionals
  • Pass / fail testing for Tele / ECG and Medication may be required at select campuses
  • Return-to-work policy requires a 6-month break for previous employees or travelers
  • Scrubs or dress code requirements may apply per facility policy

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as an MRI Technologist
  • BLS certification required
  • MA license required if applicable
  • Must be able to administer contrast agents and monitor patient safety during scans
  • COVID vaccine, COVID booster, and flu vaccination required; medical exemptions may be allowed
  • Must live at least 50 miles from the facility; no locals accepted
  • Must be separated from any previous employment at the facility for at least 6 months
