POSITION SUMMARY : The production technician will be responsible for efficiently operating specialty CNC manufacturing equipment in a production setting, transporting materials in process and performing assembly processes. The technician will be responsible for maintaining quality products and interacting with the operations and engineering teams to improve processes to maximize production volumes and minimize scrapped production due to in-process defects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Conduct setups and load materials to perform production operations.
• Monitor production processes and adjust machine settings as needed to ensure consistent quality and efficient production rates.
• Inspect and measure machined parts to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards.
• Use precision tools and equipment, such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges, to measure and verify dimensions.
• Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions to ensure consistent and high-quality production.
• Keep work area clean and organized and maintain equipment in good working condition.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Assist with other production-related tasks as needed.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :

ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES ARE A PLUS :

CERTIFICATIONS / LISCENCES : Must obtain and maintain the applicable employee license with the Texas Railroad Commission; must pass test within 45 days of hire. Must possess a current and valid driver license with a driving record that meets the insurability guidelines set forth by the company’s insurance carrier.
