Director of Food And Beverage

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Director of Food & Beverage at Bethel Resort and Suite. This position is located in Bethel, Maine. This person will work with the food and beverage team on the floor, behind the bar, greeting customers, and maintaining a an organized restaurant.

Requirements

• Oversee and direct the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, room service, and banquets. Ensure seamless coordination between departments, maintaining efficient service and consistent quality standards.
• Ensure that all food and beverage standards and policies are adhered to, including quality control, sanitation, and safety regulations.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and lead a diverse team of managers and associates. Conduct regular performance evaluations and foster a culture of accountability, excellence, and teamwork.
• Assist in menu development, pricing, and cost control.
• Coordinate with other departments, such as the kitchen, housekeeping, and front office, to ensure smooth operations.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Assist in the development and implementation of marketing and promotional strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of food and beverage costs, revenue, and inventory.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial reports.
