Pennsylvania Licensed Lead Coder

A company is looking for a Claim Payment Policy Lead Coder (CPC / CCS).

Key Responsibilities

Lead collaborations to generate and implement policy-driven medical cost savings ideas

Monitor industry trends and develop claims payment policies in compliance with regulations

Mentor staff and present policy bulletins to workgroups and committees

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent work experience

Current coding certification (CCS, CPC, RHIA, RHIT) or a combination with clinical licensure

Minimum of five years of related work experience in revenue cycle management and medical coding

Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement concepts and regulatory guidelines

Familiarity with Medicare rules and regulations
