Job Title : Sanitation Worker

Job Description

Effectively clean all assigned areas inside and outside the manufacturing plant, including equipment, machinery, and general grounds. Adhere to food safety standards and proficiently use plant touch screens and follow CIP (Clean-in-Place) procedures. Adhere to HAACP principles and demonstrate safe and proper use of cleaning tools, including squeegees, mops, brooms, hand and floor scrapers, paint brushes, and understand labeling on cleaning products and sanitizers.

Responsibilities

• Clean all assigned areas inside and outside the manufacturing plant.
• Maintain and sanitize equipment and machinery.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards.
• Operate plant touch screens and follow Clean-in-Place procedures.
• Adhere to HAACP principles.
• Use cleaning tools safely and properly.
• Understand and correctly use cleaning products and sanitizers.

Schedule

The shifts start at 7-8am and end at 5 : 30 pm.

Work Environment

Work in a medium-sized manufacturing company that produces flavors for oils and other substances. The environment is fast-paced and production-based, requiring strong communication skills. Employees must wear steel-toed shoes. The company has multiple locations, including Abingdon and Belcamp.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00 / hr.
