Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Legal Secretary with 3–5 years of experience supporting attorneys in a corporate or finance legal department . The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing a high-volume workload, handling confidential materials, and providing exceptional administrative and legal support. Legal Secretary will support 1 Partner and 2 Associates.
Reason for opening : Replacing another Legal Secretary
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to attorneys in the Corporate and Finance departments.
- Prepare, proofread, and revise legal documents including agreements, correspondence, and memos.
- Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements.
- Handle client communications and maintain client files in accordance with firm policies.
- File documents with various courts and government agencies as needed.
- Assist with billing, time entry, and expense reporting.
- Maintain confidentiality of all firm and client information.
Qualifications
3–5 years of legal secretarial experience in a corporate or finance practice area.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).Exceptional organizational, communication, and time-management skills.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.High level of discretion and professionalism.Spanish-speaking is preferred but not required .
