Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. • Responsible for balancing and auditing for accurate room revenue, cashier's reports, and guest and house accounts and telephone revenue; assisting the preparation of all reports relevant to daily revenues. - Transmit credit card batches. - Complete and transmit daily management and accounting reports and supporting documents. - Acts as hotel system liaison during night hours. - Performs all guest service representative functions as required, such as booking room reservations, answering hotel phone calls, and notifying guests of messages. - Basic mathematical skills and ability to make accurate mathematical calculations using a 10-key. - Ability to effectively deal with guest and employee concerns in a friendly and positive manner. - Make responsible judgment calls on guest issues during the overnight shift. - Make corrections and adjustments and handle all computer problems that might occur throughout the shift. - Must have good troubleshooting skills. - Answer routine questions from co-workers - Lead completion of daily tasks within the department or work unit - Interact with others when necessary to achieve desired outcomes - Maintains complete confidentiality of all company information at all times. - Other duties may be assigned.
