A company is looking for a Patient Financial Counselor I to assist patients with payment options and financial arrangements for healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

Educate patients about payment options and financial assistance

Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility for financial programs

Document and report payment information accurately and timely

Required Qualifications

Less than 1 year of related experience, preferably in a high volume medical office

High School diploma or equivalent education

Experience in customer service or call center environments

General knowledge of HIPAA and medical insurance regulations

Proficient in computer software, including MS Word and Excel
