On-Call Banquet Houseman

Overview

Responsible for assisting the Banquet Manager in setting up and breaking down banquet events, maintaining cleanliness and organization of banquet spaces, and ensuring a positive experience for all guests.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Communicate with supervisor throughout shift to be aware of the work.
• Set up all meeting rooms to the specifications of the guest. This includes physical activity in transporting materials such as staging, tables, chairs, dance floors, from storage area to meeting rooms.
• Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and fresh water.
• Break down all meeting rooms after meetings and return equipment to storage to be reset for the next function.
• Maintain established cleaning schedule of meeting rooms and ballrooms to keep rooms presentable at all times.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
