Part Time Lodging Attendant

We are seeking a friendly, service-oriented person to join our staff as a Part Time Lodging Attendant who will interact with customers on a daily basis providing customer service, work the front desk, provide laundry service for linen, and cleaning and maintaining rooms.

Positions duties include the following :

Front Desk

  • Register guest by phone, or in person
  • Manage guest service requests
  • Issues extra linens
  • Keep front desk area and lobby clean
  • Process cash or credit card payments
  • Update the reservation system including cancellations, and early departures

Cleaning Rooms

  • Sweeping and mopping floors
  • Vacuum carpets, dust and polish furniture
  • Clean metal fixtures
  • Empty and clean trash containers
  • Clean sinks, toilets, mirrors, and showers
  • Wipe down glass surfaces
  • Make up beds, change linens and towels
  • Maintain cleaning carts

    • Laundry

  • Operating commercial washer, and dryer
  • Collect and distribute linens
  • Wash, dry, fold, stack and store linens, towels, washcloths, and bath mats
  • Maintain laundry rooms and storage rooms

    • Preferred Qualifications : Preference will be given to those applicants who in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications also have a minimum of six months of work experience in commercial housekeeping. Basic computer skills a plus.
