Secret Unspecified Military and Law Enforcement

Duties
You will respond to and investigate complaints while interpreting and enforcing state and federal laws, the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), DoD and Navy regulations, and installation directives, rules and regulations.
You will enforce force protection standards, respond to alarms, emergency calls, complaints, and participate in anti-terrorism events and training exercises.
You will operate electronic tactical police communications equipment, including mobile data terminals to receive dispatches, respond to calls and complete official reports.
You will perform traffic law enforcement using specialized equipment such as radar, breathalyzer.
You will set up and conduct checkpoints / roadblocks at various locations throughout the installation in support of Random Anti-terrorism Measures (RAMS) and to reduce criminal activity and ensure motor vehicle safety.
Requirements
Conditions of employment :

- You must meet the qualifications and be certified to carry a firearm.
- The DON does not employ individuals for Law Enforcement Officer positions who have been convicted of a crime of domestic violence on or after 27 November 2002.
- This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968.
- This position is considered Key / Emergency-Essential.
- This is a Mission Essential position.
- You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and / or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required.
- Required to pass a yearly physical and continue to be physically fit.
- Required to pass Physical Agility Test.
- Employee is required to wear an assigned uniform and display official designated items or accessories to include additional required equipment.

Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following :
Performing aspects of law enforcement, antiterrorism, and physical security functions at military installations requiring use and deployment of specialized techniques, equipment, knowledge or training.Documenting law enforcement and security events and issuing citations.Conducting internal and / or external investigations, inquiries or audits related to security matters where neglect, action, or inaction could cause an adverse effect on the installation's security.Completion of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) Uniformed Police Training Program is a condition of continued employment.
