OVERVIEW

At Orion, we are seeking a Clinical Informatics Analyst with a specialty focus on Athena Electronic Health Record. This opportunity will serve as a Clinical Support Specialist and facilitate the ongoing care and feeding of Athena EHR applications, to include but not limited to issue management, request fulfillment, end-user training, vendor management and change management.

PROJECT

6-month engagement with potential to extend; Milwaukee metropolitan area (onsite 3-5 days a week) across multiple sites located regionally.

SALARY (W2)

$120,000 - $140,000

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborates with clinical end-users to manage ongoing training and education for Athena Clinicals.
  • Facilitate demand management assessments at the regional level for Athena.
  • Works with customers to understand issues with clinical systems and resolution efforts.
  • Works with associated vendor support on issue resolution, specific to Athena.
  • Maintains current knowledge of industry, business process trends and is able to apply that knowledge to existing business processes.
  • Provides subject-matter expertise of applications, processes, policies, and requirements in support of functional areas.

KEY EXPERIENCE

  • Experience with Athena clinical patient care applications, with focus on Orthopedics and Pain specialties.
  • Facilitation of clinical workflow conversations to include Inpatient and Outpatient workflow.
  • Software training and workflow troubleshooting.
  • Vendor issue resolution, request fulfillment and change management.
  • High functioning self-starter with excellent communication skills with all levels of associates (including leadership), and ability to multi-task.
  • Bachelor's degree.
