job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within the healthcare location. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and around the perimeter to monitor for potential issues and help to deter unwanted behavior. Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Complete detailed incident and / or daily activity reports in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines. Communicate with staff, visitors, and / or law enforcement in a professional manner when addressing security-related concerns or incidents. Assist with controlling access to restricted areas within the healthcare facility as directed by site-specific protocols. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Job Description
As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol in Tuscaloosa, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to create a secure environment within a healthcare location by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence. You will address security-related incidents as they arise, support staff and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service through proactive communication. What You'll Do :
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
