Controller Position

LaSalle Network is partnering with one of Chicago's most celebrated hospitality groups to hire a Controller. This is not your typical back-office accounting job. In this role, you'll be side-by-side with the CFO, driving financial strategy, building processes, and supporting new restaurant openings. The salary range for this role is $140,000 to $170,000, plus bonus. The Controller will play a key role in scaling operations, overseeing a blended onshore / offshore team, and ensuring accurate financial reporting while helping the business expand nationally.

Assistant Controller Responsibilities :

• Collaborate closely with the CFO on financial operations and strategy
• Supervise accountants, AP staff, and office managers across multiple locations
• Oversee payroll, onboarding, benefits, and HR-related functions
• Build forecasting models, budgets, and financial reports for senior leaders
• Contribute to new market expansion and tax jurisdiction research
• Ensure compliance with tax filings, leases, and financial reporting standards
