The Supervisor, Benefits and Authorization - Specialty Operations directly overseas the day-to-day operations of the Patient Benefit Verification and / or Authorization team members.

Job Description : Responsibilities

Monitors daily productivity performance including team member coaching and addresses corrections where needed

Interviews, hires, and trains employees. Directs work, appraises performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Go-to for troubleshooting issues and resolutions with CMC Patient Registration team members.

Maintains updated knowledge of industry, regulatory and reimbursement issues and of payer requirements. Keeps AVA team abreast of key changes.

Assists with roll out of new policies and procedures.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? YES

(i.e. hiring, recommending / approving promotions and pay increases, scheduling, performance reviews, discipline, etc.)

Basic Education and / or Experience Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is required.

At least 1 year of medical insurance authorization supervisory experience, OR 3-5 years of medical insurance authorization experience with demonstrated progression.

Minimum of one (1) year customer service preferred.

Home infusion experience on the provider or payer side preferred.

Basic Qualifications

Ability to multi-task and support numerous referrals / priorities at one time.

Ability to work in a fast past environment.

High degree of self-discipline in maintaining productivity expectations.

Must be detail-oriented and have a high degree of quality focus.

Due to state pay transparency laws, the full range for the position is below :

Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Pay Range is $48,500.29-$80,818.80
