About the Role :
Avion Hospitality is expanding—and with it, the need for sales leadership that can step in, assess quickly, and drive results. The Task Force Director of Sales will serve as the sales leader for hotels in need of temporary coverage, strategic turnaround, or sales team development.
Core Responsibilities :
- Serve as the lead seller and sales strategist during leadership vacancies or performance slumps.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive occupancy, ADR, and group bookings.
- Conduct proactive sales calls and property tours to grow market share.
- Reinforce brand standards, Avion sales processes, and team accountability.
- Provide sales training and development to property-based sales teams.
- Interface directly with hotel ownership to present results and strategies.
Requirements : Ideal Background :
Experienced Director of Sales or DOSM in select or full-service environments.Proven track record of business development, account management, and team leadership.Hilton, Marriott, or Hyatt experience required.Demonstrated ability to quickly establish credibilityKey Qualifications :
4+ years in a Director of Sales or DOSM role, preferably across multiple segments.Experience working with Marriott Sales Office (MSO), Hilton Lanyon, or Hyatt LDR systems.Strong client relationship and negotiation skills.Ability to drive measurable revenue improvement within 30–60 days.Must be willing and able to travel extensively (up to 100%).
