We’re looking for an Asset Manager to oversee a growing portfolio of hotels and ensure each property delivers peak financial and operational performance. This is a hands-on, analytical role that sits at the intersection of real estate, finance, and hospitality operations—ideal for someone who thrives on both strategic insight and in-the-field accountability.
What You’ll Do
Portfolio Oversight & Strategy
- Lead property management companies (PMCs) and general managers to maximize profitability and performance.
- Identify operational and financial risks, creating actionable mitigation plans.
- Develop short- and long-term strategies informed by market trends and financial results.
- Ensure compliance with franchise, loan, vendor, and management agreements.
Financial & Performance Analysis
Review property-level financials, STR data, and budgets to drive informed decision-making.Provide insights to leadership through monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports.Benchmark performance to identify best practices and continuous improvement opportunities.Draft investor communications, including quarterly updates and annual budget letters.Operations & Inspections
Conduct on-site visits to assess service quality, property condition, and brand standards.Oversee openings and transitions from construction to full operation.Manage capital improvement planning to protect and enhance asset value.Collaboration & Reporting
Partner with internal teams (development, construction, accounting, legal) on portfolio-wide initiatives.Support underwriting and analysis for new acquisitions.Conduct special projects and research for the CEO as needed.What You Bring
5–7 years of hotel operations or asset management experience.Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Finance, or a related field.Strong understanding of real estate finance, feasibility, and capital projects.Advanced Excel and analytical skills; familiarity with STR and revenue systems.Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.Willingness to travel regularly across a growing national portfolio.Compensation
$100,000 - $120,000 annually, plus bonus potentialFull benefits, 100% of employee premiums paid for Medical, Vision, Dental, & Life insurance.
