Weekend Requirements : Weekends need

On Call Requirements : A rotation of one week of call per month of 11p-7a weeknights and Friday 7p-Monday 7a, one weekend per month.

Job Description :

Position Summary : Performs a variety of imaging procedures consistent with established policies and procedures at a technical level typically requiring general supervision.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities :

Gives straightforward explanations and instructions to foster a sense of comfort and confidence to patients and ensure the needs of individual patients are met.

Operates and maintains all assigned imaging department equipment including but not limited to x-ray.

Positions patients and uses radiologic equipment to correctly capture the images requested by a physician.

Accurately performs all imaging exams as ordered in accordance with established policies, procedures, regulations, and laws; ensures the physician on duty is notified of the results.

Requirements :

2+ Years of Experience - Required

Must have OR experience - Required

Experience with X-ray - Required

Travel - Required

BLS must be AHA - must be willing to obtain prior to start

ARRT certification - Required

VeeAR Health Job ID #61053. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
