Responsibilities
- Drive efficiencies and automation that help support the resilience of the Firm's most critical applications
- Set team goals and SLAs, provide and receive feedback while partnering with near-shore and offshore IT-DR teams; help set the IT-DR Lifecyle roadmap and identify unaddressed areas for solutioning
- Assign team members to the right projects at the right time within budget and timelines; ensure team members have skills and tools to perform their jobs, acting as point of escalation to leadership
- Balance execution with strategic planning; contribute to tactical plans and monitor monthly, quarterly, and yearly performance for the IT-DR Area
- Advocate alignment with relevant strategies, ensuring adherence and related commitments while partnering with ERO and Risk management; use advanced technical expertise to guide IT disaster recovery and business application teams toward optimal solutions
- Engage with department management and staff across Digital Nexus / functional processes to influence client expectations and provide well-considered alternatives and recommendations for improvements; ensure goals and objectives are consistently met
Qualifications
Minimum five years of recent experience in IT-Disaster Recovery and / or leading IT Infrastructure or Application TeamsBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; IT-DR related Certifications are a plusExpert knowledge of IT Infrastructure, Networking, DNS, Load Balancing, Servers, High AvailabilityExperience in an enterprise IT-DR team or Application team that performed IT-DR planning and testing, e.g., application fail-over and DR site operationsProven leadership and communication skills with collaboration across application teams and nearshore / offshore teamsKnowledge of ServiceNow, SharePoint, Office Suite and Agile methodologiesApplicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the futureBenefits and Compliance
