PACU RN Job Details Location : Valparaiso, IN 46383 (Indiana nursing jobs) Assignment Length : 13 weeks Start Date : November 17, 2025 End Date : February 16, 2026 Shift : Day shifts, 10 hours (6 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM or 10 : 00 AM – 8 : 30 PM) Hours per Week : 40 Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,750–$1,870 Call Requirements : Minimum 1 night every other week and 1 weekend Unit : 8-bed PACU, patient ratio 1 : 2 EMR : Cerner Scrub Color : Navy (self-provided) PACU Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana Minimum 1 year of recent PACU nursing experience required Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications Critical care nursing experience required ICU experience preferred Ability to provide all required licenses and certifications upon submission Travel nurses must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted) PACU RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality pre-operative and post-anesthesia care to surgical patients Monitor patient recovery, vital signs, and respond to changes in condition Administer prescribed medications and treatments Collaborate with surgical, anesthesia, and clinical support teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Accurately document patient care in Cerner EMR Participate in required on-call rotation Apply now to join our healthcare team and take the next step in your travel nursing career in Valparaiso, Indiana!
