The Accounting and Finance team ensures accuracy and compliance in financial reporting, supports audits, and collaborates across departments to strengthen financial performance. We take pride in fostering collaboration, problem-solving, and attention to detail while supporting both operational and strategic goals.
How you'll contribute
An Accounts Payable Specialist who excels in this role :
Reviews invoices for appropriate documentation, coding, and approvals prior to payment.
Serves as an interdepartmental liaison and works with internal / external auditors to prepare for and facilitate audits.
Ensures compliance with current accounting standards, hospital policies, and applicable laws / regulations.
Develops analytical and departmental reports as required or requested.
Assists with month-end close functions.

What we're looking for
Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred) and at least two years of college coursework (preferred). Additional requirements include :
Strong critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently.
Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
Familiarity with accounting standards and compliance practices.
Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
