About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Must-Have Skills / Experience :

Telemetry experience

Recent acute care experience

Ability to manage a patient ratio of 1 : 6

Description :

Housing options available.

Candidates should indicate if shift preference is flexible.

Day or night shifts are acceptable, but no block schedule requests.

48-hour shifts can be considered but are not guaranteed.

A community hospital with 171 beds and Joint Commission Accreditation.

Certified Chest Pain Center and Level 3 Trauma facility.

Located near beautiful mountain ranges and serene lake scenery.

Outdoor recreation opportunities abound in the area.

Conveniently situated close to major cities.

Unit Information :

The unit consists of 40 beds.

Patient ratios are 1 : 6.

Key equipment includes IV pumps, bed / chair alarms, drug dispensing cabinets, and defibrillators.

The electronic health record system used is Medhost.

Supervision provided by designated supervisor.

Patient population includes adults and geriatrics.

Preferred Skillset / Experience :

At least 2 years of RN experience.

Preceptor or charge experience is a plus.

Type of patients on the unit includes total joint patients, surgical patients, and those with acute on chronic medical conditions.

Ideal candidates will possess a compassionate and positive attitude.

Dress code requires black scrubs (top and bottom).

Open shoes are not permitted.
