Job Summary

We are seeking a Facility Attendant to join our Insourcing Solutions team, located in Gaithersburg, MD.

As the Facility Attendant, you will perform general housekeeping to maintain a clean SOP-compliant facility and provide as-needed support of vivarium operations.

Additional responsibilities include :

• Remove trash, sweep, mop and provide general cleaning and sanitization of all areas, including floors, corridors, stairwells, restrooms, necropsy, facility surgery clinic and procedure rooms. Performs said duties in other facilities as needed.
• Clean and re-supply bathrooms as needed.
• Scrub down and sanitize rooms.
• Transport equipment and supplies between rooms and facilities.
• Assist in the repair and maintenance of cage wash equipment according to applicable SOPs.
• Share responsibility for maintaining appropriate inventory levels of housekeeping supplies.
• Help the Animal Care Technician II's in completing husbandry duties as needed, help Receiving and Cagewash Technicians as needed.
• Adhere to all established safety procedures.
• Performs all other related duties as assigned.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 to $22.50 USD per hour. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
