Position Summary
The Learning and Development Trainer is responsible for conducting comprehensive training and development programs for employees. This role involves collecting information, conducting research, and creating impactful training materials and programs to enhance organizational capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Training Delivery & Management
- Design and deliver training programs using various instructional techniques including role-playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, and lectures
- Monitor, evaluate, and record training activities to measure program effectiveness
- Develop specific training programs to help employees maintain and improve job skills
Needs Assessment & Planning
Assess training needs through surveys, employee interviews, focus groups, and management consultationsAnalyze performance gaps and recommend appropriate training solutionsAlign training initiatives with organizational goals and objectivesContent Development
Create and develop comprehensive training materials including procedure manuals, guides, and course materialsDesign engaging visual aids and handouts to support learning objectivesOrganize and maintain training documentation and resourcesRequired Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Education, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or related discipline)Equivalent combination of education and experience will be consideredExperience
Minimum 8 years of experience in learning and development, training, or related fieldDemonstrated experience in curriculum design and adult learning principlesProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and PowerPointExperience with learning management systems and e-learning platforms preferredCore Competencies
