Assignment Details

RN House Supervisor – Psych setting

12-hour nights (6 : 45 PM – 7 : 15 AM)

Every other weekend required

Rotates with permanent staff

2 days unit / department-specific

Facility Overview

Acute Psychiatric & Medical Detox Facility

Primarily indigent, low-violence population; co-occurring disorders

Direct admits only; no ER on-site (nearest ER is 2 hours away)

BLS only; call 911 for medical emergencies

24 / 7 House Supervisor (you); another Rehab Supervisor coming soon

24 / 7 coverage

Acute Units

Locked, Co-ed, ages 55+, depression, schizophrenia, personality disorders

Stay

10–14 days

Locked, co-ed, addiction + psych, 72-hour holds, detox from jail or other facilities

Detox Units

Medically assisted detox (Suboxone, Methadone), fewer comorbidities

Same as Unit 1, but more comorbidities (e.g., diabetics, basic wounds, CPAP users)
