What We're Looking For

We are seeking a skilled BI Developer and Data Analyst with expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and relational databases to join our dynamic data team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain data reports and dashboards, transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data processes, improve reporting accuracy, and enhance data visualization.

In-person work at the office to drive productivity and collaboration. (No remote, please) – we cover your parking Downtown.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated reports and dashboards using GCP tools such as BigQuery, Data Studio, and Looker.
  • Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources, including SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and BigQuery.
  • Write optimized SQL queries for data extraction and transformation across various relational database platforms.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Build scalable data pipelines and workflows integrating on-premises databases and cloud platforms.
  • Ensure data integrity, quality, and consistency across reporting platforms.
  • Provide ad-hoc data analysis and support decision-making with clear, actionable insights.
  • Document data processes, reporting methodologies, and best practices.
  • Stay up to date with GCP innovations and industry trends to continuously improve reporting and analysis capabilities.
  • Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Statistics, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Report Developer, Data Analyst, or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Google Cloud Platform services, including :
  • BigQuery (SQL)
  • Data Studio / Looker (data visualization)
  • Cloud Storage and Cloud Functions (preferred)
  • Advanced skills in SQL for relational databases, including :
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • Oracle Database
  • PostgreSQL
  • Experience with data modeling and ETL processes across multiple platforms.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable reports and dashboards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Python, R, or similar scripting languages (a plus).
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • GCP certifications such as Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer.
  • Experience with other BI tools like Tableau, Power BI.
  • Knowledge of machine learning concepts and tools.
  • Understanding of data governance and compliance.
