Must-Have :

• Elekta, mosaiq, exac trac experience preferred but not required.
• Adult outpatient care experience.
• Experience with patient care in restraints.
• Proficient in chart check and crash cart procedures.
• Competence in CT simulation and custom molds and shields.
• Knowledge of defibrillator and electron beam therapy.
• Familiarity with external beam therapy and field shaping techniques.
• Proficient in IMRT and patient / family teaching.
• Understanding of radiation safety and tumor localization.

Description :

The position requires a Clienttion Therapist with a minimum of 1 year of experience.

The Clienttion Therapist will work in an acute care setting.

Daily responsibilities include providing radiation therapy to patients with various cancer diagnoses.

The daily census averages 50 patients scheduled on two linear accelerators.

The role requires care for adult and geriatric patient age groups.

Therapists will work in collaboration with interdisciplinary support teams including IV teams, respiratory services, and social services.

The expected patient-to-therapist ratio is 2 therapists per linear accelerator.

Weekend work is not required; however, flexibility may be needed during holiday periods.

The environment may involve high-pressure situations requiring rapid response capabilities.

Therapists must be willing to float between units as necessary.

Travelers may need to possess a vehicle for transportation during the assignment.

Completion of modules before starting the position is necessary, and ongoing education will be mandatory.
