Locum Physician (MD / DO) - Family Practice in New York

We are seeking a Family Medicine Physician for a full-time, six-month locum tenens assignment in New York, starting Oct 20, 2025. The position offers 40-hour workweeks with Monday through Friday scheduling, including one late shift per week, and involves both patient care and supervision of advanced practice providers. Job Details Location : New York Facility Type : Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) Start Date : Oct 20, 2025 LOA : 120 days Provider Type Needed : Family Medicine Physician Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm with one day per week 11am–8pm Responsibilities and Duties Provide full-scope outpatient Family Medicine care in a busy FQHC setting Supervise and collaborate with four advanced practice providers (3–5 years of experience) Utilize eClinicalWorks EMR and AI tools to expedite charting Deliver care in a multi-disciplinary office that also offers dental and mental health services Ensure compliance with all payer requirements, including Medicare and Medicaid Maintain high standards of patient care and documentation Additional Information New York medical license required Must be board certified in Family Medicine Enrollment with New York State Medicare and Medicaid payers required Experience in FQHC settings strongly preferred Proficiency with electronic medical records, especially eClinicalWorks, is essential Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required No administrative hours are included in this assignment Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
