Millwood's caring, and multidisciplinary staff has successfully provided inpatient and outpatient mental health and chemical dependency care to children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults since 1971. Position Summary

INTERNSHIP SUMMARY : Students will be supervised by a Licensed Social Worker at our PHP Excel facility in Ft. Worth. They will have the opportunity to rotate through each Outpatient Unit, working with each population that we serve. Learn how our facility impacts the community and participate in treatment teams with a multidisciplinary team approach. This is an unpaid internship.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Conduct Bio-psychosocial assessments
• Discharge planning and identifying resources within the community for aftercare
• Psychoeducational groups and therapeutic processing groups
