As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned healthcare locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to staff, patients, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to situations as they arise, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTime Wed 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

Fri 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

Sun 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to site procedures.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as directed, including supporting evacuations and / or providing guidance to staff and visitors.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare personnel and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
