Join Our Team as an Internal Medicine Physician!

Are you ready to make a significant impact in a thriving community? AdventHealth East Orlando is seeking a passionate and dedicated Internal Medicine Physician to step into the role of Medical Director . In this pivotal position, you will lead clinical operations, champion quality and safety, and foster a patient-centered approach within our Internal Medicine Department.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As the Medical Director, you will :

  • Lead and inspire a team of healthcare professionals to achieve excellence in patient care.
  • Oversee physician recruitment and mentorship, ensuring a supportive environment for growth.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to set and achieve departmental goals.
  • Emphasize evidence-based medicine and best practices in a fast-paced setting.
  • Support the onboarding process for new physicians and advanced practice providers.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will possess :

  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience.
  • Leadership experience in medical staff, department, or quality and safety initiatives.
  • A commitment to enhancing patient experience and productivity within the Internal Medicine group.
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for mentoring future leaders.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required.
