As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents at a busy logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities include monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to promote a secure environment. You will also provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to everyone onsite. Tue 04 : 30 AM - 09 : 30 AM

Wed 04 : 30 AM - 09 : 30 AM

Thur 04 : 30 AM - 09 : 30 AM

Fri 04 : 30 AM - 09 : 30 AM

Sun 02 : 00 AM - 10 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Monitor and control access to the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain security-related protocols.
  • Verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises, ensuring compliance with site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by answering questions and assisting with access-related concerns.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response protocols when necessary.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Document and report all access control activities, incidents, and irregularities according to Allied Universal and client procedures.
  • Collaborate with site management and law enforcement as needed to address access control and security-related matters at the location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
