Salary

The salary for this position traditionally starts at $53,222.00 but may be commensurate with education or work experience.

Responsibilities

The essential functions of this role include depository examinations and consumer credit examinations, with oversight responsibilities in larger and more complex institutions. Specific duties include :

• Perform various examinations conducted on institutions of large size and complexity.
• Serve as an Examiner-In-Charge (EIC) of Safety and Soundness examinations for the largest institutions and those with weaknesses.
• Submit examination plans reflecting institution condition and risk profile.
• Oversee examination staff to ensure appropriate scope and adherence to procedures.
• Submit timely Reports of Examination that are analytically correct with minimal errors.
• Make accurate ratings determinations and develop corrective programs with assistance.
• Develop loan review samples aligned with department goals of identifying credit risks.
• Serve as the Central Point of Contact (CPC) for the most complex institutions and communicate with staff, regulators, and management.
• Coordinate on-site visitations and attend board / management exit meetings as necessary.
• Perform CAMELS ratings and related examinations; evaluate credit risk management systems and adjust scope as needed.
