Job Summary :
The Part-Time Dispatcher is responsible for efficiently coordinating and dispatching special inspectors to various job sites, ensuring timely service delivery and effective communication. This role serves as a central point of contact for inspectors, clients, and internal teams, managing schedules, addressing inquiries, and maintaining accurate records of inspection activities. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, a strong ability to multitask, and the capacity to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
Duties :
Receive and Prioritize Inspection Requests : Accept incoming inspection requests from clients via phone, email, or online systems and prioritize them based on urgency and logistics.
Schedule and Dispatch Inspectors : Efficiently assign and dispatch special inspectors to job sites, considering their qualifications, availability, and geographical location.
Communicate Job Details : Provide clear and comprehensive job details to inspectors, including project scope, specific requirements, and site contacts.
Coordinate with Clients : Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates on inspection schedules, estimated arrival times, and addressing inquiries.
Monitor Inspector Status : Track the location and status of field inspectors using dispatching software or GPS, ensuring they arrive on time and complete assignments.
Adjust Schedules : Modify and re-dispatch inspectors as needed in response to last-minute requests, delays, or changes in project requirements.
Maintain Records : Accurately record all inspection activities, including scheduling details, completed jobs, and communication logs.
Troubleshoot Issues : Assist inspectors with any on-site logistical problems or communication challenges.
Data Entry : Input and update job-related information into dispatching and record-keeping systems.
Customer Service : Provide professional and courteous service to both internal staff and external clients.
Education / Qualifications :
High School Diploma preferred but not required.
