Sales Engineer – Packaging Machinery - global compensation up to $150,000.00, Benefits self-insured
Our client, an international manufacturer of industrial packaging equipment and customized engineering solutions , is seeking a motivated and technically skilled Sales Engineer to manage the West Coast territory
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in technical or capital equipment sales , a solid understanding of engineering concepts , and a talent for developing long-term client relationships.
- Lead sales activities across the West Coast by offering tailored technical solutions aligned with customer needs
- Identify market opportunities, target industries, and new potential clients
- Conduct on-site visits, product demonstrations, and maintain ongoing communication with existing accounts
- Prepare and manage technical and commercial quotations and proposals using dedicated software
- Collaborate closely with Engineering and Project Management teams to ensure alignment between customer expectations and deliverables
- Participate in customer kick-off meetings, trade shows, conferences, and training sessions
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in technical or industrial sales (capital equipment, automation, or similar fields)
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to discuss complex engineering and commercial concepts with clients
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel regularly across the West Coast
