Job Summary
Responsible for dealing in a professional and proficient manner all Table Games within approved guidelines, applicable laws, policies, and procedures while providing Outstanding Guest Service.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
All Team Members must embrace and deliver Kiowa's Guest Service Standards to every Guest on every shift, as outlined in Orientation, the Team Member Handbook, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and any other related training
Consistently ensures an exceptional level of service and satisfaction is achieved throughout the property, exceeding the expectations of external and internal Guests alike in a timely and effective manner
Responsible for the protection and control of the game being dealt
Conducts the game in accordance with Kiowa Casinos' policies and procedures
Advises Floor Supervisor or Shift Manager of any player disputes or irregularities that may arise during the game
Follows all management instructions
Attends all meetings as assigned by Table Games Management
Maintains a professional, friendly, and courteous atmosphere
Ensures all guests are satisfied with their experience at Kiowa Casinos
May be required to deal the following games as needed : Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, and any other games known as assigned
All other duties assigned
Must adhere to departmental, organizational, state, and federal safety rules and regulations, applicable processes for safe operation, appropriate Personal Protective Equipment, in addition to any / all related controls for personal welfare and the safety of others
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSA)
SPECIFICS REQUIRED :
High school diploma or GED required
At least 21 years of age
Working knowledge of the Gaming Industry and the laws and regulations governing gaming operations
PREFERRED :
1 year previous dealing experience or completion of a dealing course
SKILLS REQUIRED :
Strong written communication skills
Strong verbal communication skills
Guest service, interpersonal and teamwork skills necessary to maintain quality service delivery
Accurate and detail-oriented
Strong problem solving skills
Basic Math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, ability to demonstrate proficiency)
ABILITIES REQUIRED :
Ability to maintain high confidentiality
Ability to independently manage multiple tasks in a professional manner
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to deal all table games offered
Physical Demands / Work Environment
PHYSICAL DEMANDS : Must be able to communicate using written, oral and computer methods. Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods in excess of 8 hours. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must have a good sense of balance. Must have manual dexterity and ability to use repetitive wrist motions.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT : Office, gaming floor and convention center environment including flashing lights, frequent loud noises and cigarette smoke. Must be flexible with work schedule. Must be willing to work any hours and / or shift, as assigned, according to business needs. Occasionally must deal with angry or hostile individuals. High volume direct public contact.
