Job Description

As a Security Professional - Residential Desk Patrol in San Rafael, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more.

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will be the first point of contact for residents and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication. Your presence at the front desk will help to deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
  • Monitor access to the residential location, verifying identification and / or credentials as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and / or unusual occurrences.
  • Communicate professionally with residents, guests, and staff to address inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
  • Support emergency response activities according to site-specific protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Assist with visitor management and / or package handling processes as directed by site policies.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
