Day - 08 Hour (United States of America)Join a strong team of specialized cardiovascular genetic counselors housed within cutting-edge multidisciplinary subspecialty clinics at a leading academic medical center.
This position is integrated within adult cardiology at the Stanford Center for Marfan Syndrome and Related Aortic Disorders. The center is the largest of its kind in California and a nationally leading center for the diagnosis and treatment of genetic aortic disorders. We provide ourselves on providing comprehensive, integrated, cutting-edge care.
The genetic counselor will work with a close-knit team of cardiologists, CT surgeons, and advanced practice providers in inpatient and outpatient settings. Experience in an inpatient setting and / or cardiovascular genetics is preferred but not required. This is a Stanford Health Care job.
A Brief Overview
The Genetic Counselor Level II applies acquired job skills, and knowledge of policies and procedures. Exercises judgement within defined guidelines and practices to determine appropriate action. Performs work in assigned area(s) to develop expertise needed to be fully functional in an assigned specialty area / clinic.

Base Pay Scale : Generally starting at $57.48 - $76.14 per hour
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
