Superintendent

Location : Vancouver, WA (Portland Metro area projects)

Pay : 110k-135k

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee construction projects, specifically in multifamily and ground-up hotel developments. The Superintendent will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage subcontractors and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily on-site operations for multiple construction projects
Coordinate and supervise construction activities and work schedules
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
Collaborate with project managers to plan and execute project timelines
Communicate with clients, architects, and engineers to address project needs
Review and approve subcontractor work and invoices
Conduct regular site inspections and provide progress reports to stakeholders
Train and mentor junior staff and crew members

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Superintendent in multifamily and hotel construction

Strong knowledge of construction processes, means, and methods

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications

Excellent communication and leadership skills

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred

OSHA certification and first aid / CPR certification are a plus
