Job Description
Title
Merchandising Coordinator – Men’s
Compensation Range : $60,000-$70,000
Responsibilities
- Assist in the partnership between merchandising and design to build a balanced line based on empirical data and sales analyses, as well as trend and brand awareness
- Assist in the creation and implementation of seasonal line plans by delivery and style / SKU to achieve business strategies
- Assist in the analysis of price tiers and pricing architecture to guide Design in developing the men’s line; tracking wholesale and retail price points based on margin targets and perceived price value
- Track and monitor key items and growth opportunities by category and style
- Support the Men’s Merchandising team daily and in preparing for key meetings by gathering data, building presentations, and other administrative tasks assigned
- Communicate cross-functionally with Design, Sales, Product Development, and Production teams to ensure cohesive processes
- Shop the market to be aware of trends, competitive price positioning, and market share
- Assist in creating and maintaining weekly / monthly cross-functional reporting tools
- Manage and track the flow of samples
