About The Position

Job Title : Resource Pool RN (ICU / PCU)

Profession : Registered Nurse

Specialty : Intensive Care Unit

Duration : 13 weeks, can request up to 52 weeks

Shift : Night

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : 2+ years large hospital experience preferred

License : Active license required

Certifications : BLS, ACLS required

Must-Have : Epic experience required

Patient ratio experience, Charge experience preferred

Description :

ASAP start preferred.

Resource Pool RN will float to all ICU and PCU units as needed.

Staffing office reviews needs every 4 hours.

Travelers must be comfortable working in all ICU and PCU units.

ICU patient ratio is 2 : 1.

PCU patient ratio is 5 : 1.

Travelers are required to work at least 1 holiday per 13-week assignment.

For winter holidays, 2 holidays are required.

All requests for time off must be sent upfront.

Compliance documents are due Wednesday prior to the start date.

Travelers must float during their shifts if needed.

Candidates within 100 miles of the facility will be considered local.

Local candidates are not accepted.

Previous employees must have been gone for a minimum of one year before returning.

Those who have worked on assignment for 365 days are not eligible to return, with exceptions reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Modules are non-billable if completed within the first 24 hours.

Orientation modules can be completed pre-start or during orientation.

All hours vary based on specialty.

The facility allows specific hours for orientation modules.
