Who are we? An Introduction

Recovery Consultants of Atlanta is a private non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1999 by a group of concerned, committed, and spiritually centered members of the Metro-Atlanta's 12-Step and faith-based addiction recovery communities. Over the years, the organization has grown and expanded its services for both clients and patients by offering an array of comprehensive Primary Care Services through its Community Health Center which enhances and supplements all services being provided at RCA. Our mission is to inspire hope, and contribute to health and well-being, by providing the best care to every patient through integrated clinical practice, education, and application of best practices.

As the Full-Time Clinical Director at Recovery Consultants of Atlanta, you will lead a dedicated team with a commitment to high-quality client care and professional development. You will supervise daily performance, providing ongoing assessments and coaching to support staff retention and growth. Collaborate closely with clinical interns, volunteers, and staff to ensure they meet educational and competency requirements while maintaining an environment focused on client-centered care. Your responsibilities will include oversight of treatment services and managing clinical assignments based on staff competencies and client needs.

Requirements for this Clinical Director job

To excel as the Full-Time Clinical Director at Recovery Consultants of Atlanta, a comprehensive skill set is paramount. You must possess the ability to design and implement effective clinical interventions tailored for adults with co-occurring diagnoses or specific DSM diagnoses. Cultural competency is essential, as you will educate site staff on culturally appropriate treatments and services. A thorough understanding of behavioral health laws and regulations is crucial for maintaining compliance and ethical practices.

You will need the ability to supervise clinical interns and associates, offering guidance in field placement and practicum positions, while also being comfortable with public speaking. Ideal candidates will be adept in working independently and will exhibit strong intermediate computer skills, particularly in MS Word and Excel. Proficiency in addressing the diverse needs of clients in various stages of recovery, along with knowledge of community resources and specialized areas such as HIV and veteran issues, is vital to your success in this role.
