Job Description

Mills Marine and Ship Repair, LLC (Mills Marine) is currently seeking an individual to support Touch Labor at Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY)

Clearance Requirement :

Must be a US citizen with a DOD final Secret security clearance.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities :

• Fabricates, Repairs, Assembles and Installs aboard ships and in facilities wall coverings such as Plastic Laminates, Plexiglas and polycarbonate materials.

Education :

The Supervisor position requires a minimum of a high school diploma and / or successful completion of a related trade or industrial school.

Experience :

The Woodcrafter / Plastic Fabricator Supervisor position requires 5 years of verifiable experience as a supervisor in the Woodcrafter / Plastic Fabricator trade performing the Woodcrafter / Plastic Fabricator skills identified under the Woodcrafter / Plastic Fabricator Trade Skills section, which shall include a minimum of two (2) years work experience on U.S. Navy ships / vessels.

Trade Training :

Completed a formal course of study in the assigned trade through either a community college, technical or trade school, military training, formal company training program or an apprentice program.

MIL-STD-2148A Vibration Damping Materials, Procedures for Installation, Maintenance, and Repairs

MIL-STD-2184A Procedures for Installation, Inspection, Maintenance, and Repair of Absorber, Reflector, and

Decoupler Acoustic Materials.

S9086-VG-STM-010 / CH-634, Deck Coverings
