About the role

We're seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join our growing team in Grimes, Iowa. In this pivotal role, you'll work closely with the Accounting Manager to enhance financial operations and support Crunchyroll's expanding e-commerce goals. You'll lead by example-offering mentorship and fostering collaboration as we scale.

• Oversee core accounting areas including expenses, accruals, prepaid assets, fixed assets, cash transactions, and intercompany reporting.
• Prepare journal entries and perform balance sheet reconciliations during monthly close.
• Support accuracy in Accounts Payable and Receivable.
• Partner with Sony teams on tax filings and resolve discrepancies or notices.
• Ensure proper accounting treatment for complex transactions under US GAAP and IFRS.
• Leverage ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) for inventory and financial reporting.
• Recommend improvements to business processes to boost scalability and efficiency.
• Help maintain strong internal controls and manage financial risk.

This hybrid role requires three days onsite per week in Grimes, IA, reporting directly to the Accounting Manager.
